Spider-Man: No Way Home, the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, is Sony's most successful movie production. It premiered on December 16, 2021 and has since grossed over $ 1 billion (being the first film to make it to the pandemic).
In December, Deadline reported that No Way Home was on track for $ 610 million in net profits, a much higher number than Spider-Man Homecoming and Spider-Man Far From Home. On Christmas Eve 2021 the film officially became Sony's most successful, and as long as the cinemas remain open (as the issue remains doubtful with the spread of the newest coronavirus mutation) Spidey's third solo film is expected to see even bigger profits.
