Squid Game: There are discussions for a 3rd season!

"Squid Game" premiered on Netflix in September, winning rave reviews from both viewers and critics.

It also broke the record for first-time viewership in streaming service, surpassing Bridgerton's previous record. Now the series is "preparing" to return with more seasons.

In an interview with Korean television station KBS, series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk said he was currently talking to the streaming platform about the future of the series.

"I'm in talks with Netflix for season 2 as well as season 3," Dong-hyuk told the Korea Times. "We will decide soon," he added. "It's true we're talking about a great prospect for Squid Game, including the production of a third season, but nothing has been decided yet," Netflix said.
